Tyler MacAfee

Founder and Principal Consultant

Tyler MacAfee has spent his career helping organizations connect with their audiences, navigate complex challenges, and communicate in ways that build trust.

Before launching The MacAfee Group, he held senior leadership roles in
communications, government relations, strategy, and stakeholder engagement—
most recently as Vice President at the Winnipeg Airport, where he helped secure major public funding, led responses to high-stakes issues, and built
strong partnerships across government, industry, and community.

Tyler also led the Government and Community Engagement Office at the
University of Manitoba, where the team’s advocacy and relationship-building efforts resulted in landmark infrastructure investments and public policy wins.

Over more than two decades, Tyler has worked closely with executives, boards, and frontline teams across sectors. He’s guided organizations through crises, facilitated long-term planning, and helped leaders communicate with clarity during moments of change.

conversation, and turn insight into action. He’s a trusted partner known for being
calm under pressure, collaborative in his approach, and deeply committed to
